The model portfolio comprises a selection of managed funds from the High Services List (HSL), a list of approved managed funds constructed and monitored by the BTFG Research team.

This report focuses on the Core Model Portfolio, which comprises a portfolio of approx. 18 to 22 ASX-listed stocks. The portfolio is actively managed and aims to outperform the S&P/ASX 200 Accumulation Index over a rolling three-year period.

The portfolio is designed to encompass stocks that are of high quality (primarily top 50) to minimise portfolio risk. The portfolio is suitable for investors seeking a highly concentrated portfolio of ASX-listed stocks with a long-term investment horizon, given the Manager aims to look beyond short-term market dynamics and focus on long-term thematics.

The model portfolio is available to Westpac Banking Corporation (WBC) affiliated advisers, however, while the asset allocation is consistent across all wealth channels the portfolio may differ depending on the constraints of dealer groups Approved Product Lists (APLs).
