Corporations Act eligibility notice
Access to restricted research is subject to IIR approval and verification of the applicable wholesale-client criteria under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth), including sections 761G or 761GA where relevant. Classification depends on the particular client and financial product or service.
Submitting a request, creating a website account or describing yourself as a sophisticated investor does not establish eligibility or grant research access. Being an experienced investor, financial adviser or wealth manager does not by itself establish the required legal classification.
If the sophisticated-investor pathway in section 761GA is applicable, it requires the relevant AFS licensee’s assessment on reasonable grounds, a written statement of reasons and the client’s separate written acknowledgment of the specified retail-client protections that will not apply. This website notice is not that assessment or acknowledgment and does not waive your rights.
